Umbria Jazz in Perugia

In July, the city of Perugia swings to the notes of jazz. The longest lasting music festival in central Italy, held every year since 1973, Umbria Jazz brings the Perugian summer to life. In 2012, it takes place from 6 to 15 July, with many famous international guests; indeed, this unique festival is not only for jazz lovers, as the final concert on the main stage features Sting.

In about an hour’s drive from Poggio al Vento, you can treat yourself to a summer’s evening devoted to music and to the unique beauty of Perugia by night.
